Winter Wonderland

Winter In The Tetons

Covered with a blanket of snow, winter in the Tetons offer a completely different perspective on the Park. The summer crowds are gone, providing a more leisurely pace while visiting some of the Parks iconic locations. Wildlife are much easier to locate during the winter months and tend to be less mobile, allowing for some great photographic opportunities. This tour is a great way to spend a half day recovering from the rigors of skiing the Big Mountain!!

Itinerary

The morning tour begins with a sunrise location to photograph the early morning light as it illuminates the Tetons. We will then move on to other landscape locations while searching for wildlife. Moose, Bighorn Sheep, Bison, Coyotes, Fox, Elk and waterfowl are frequently encountered, as well as Bald Eagles and Pronghorn Antelope. As all my tours are private, we can spend as much time with the animals as you like. The afternoon tour concludes with a sunset photograph of the Tetons before returning to your hotel.
