Thoroughly Enjoyable

Gave the right amount of help for us to improve at each photo opportunity. Also reviewed our shots periodically, to provide us a bit of feedback in the moment, which was a very effective part of the instruction process. We felt like he was ready with as much help as we wanted throughout the day, without being intrusive.

The Highlight of My Trip

At 5:30am we were in route to beautiful places to watch the Tetons covered in that golden morning glow, followed by other incredible landscapes and spectacular wildlife viewing, all while learning a ton of tips and tricks of the trade from an expert. He was accommodating, knowledgeable and it was a pleasure to spend time with. I learned a lot and loved every second of it!

He Knew My Camera Better Than I Did

I’ve been an amateur photographer for 30 years but even if you are a beginner you should still hire Brad – he will absolutely teach you and you’ll get wonderful photos plus learn how to better use your camera. If you are a photographer visiting the Tetons the first time don’t try to do it alone. You will get so much more out of it if you have a guide like Brad! PS: When Brad says to meet him at 5 am – just do it &…

Great Winter Pics

Brad knew the right alternate spot to shoot the sunrise when the Tetons were shrouded in clouds. He was extremely helpful in shooting the best landscapes and finding wildlife.

Saw coyotes, moose, bighorn sheep and eagles all close enough to shoot with a 300 mm lens. I also learned a lot about landscape composition, shooting wildlife, etc. Highly recommend to any enthusiast.

Great Photography Experience

Brad did a great job of taking us to some amazing vistas and locating a broad variety of wildlife. We got some great photos, and were able to experience a lot. We had an amazing time.

Fantastic Photo Tour

Brad knows the best locations to observe and photograph wildlife and landscapes! I came back with wonderful images of bison, pronghorn and elk. My favorite images were breathtaking sunset photos thanks to Brad’s choice location and his guidance with camera settings!

A Rewarding Wildlife Opportunity

I chose the wildlife tour. Great choice.

Brad provided bean bags for shooting out of the vehicles windows and positioned the vehicle so I could get good shots.
Brad’s knowledge of the animal habits and whereabouts was invaluable. I was able to capture decent shots of a moose, abundant pronghorn and a badger.

Meet Your Guide

My name is Brad Schwarm, and I’ll be your guide for the day.

I moved to Jackson Hole in 1989 with a fresh degree in commercial photography from the Brooks Institute of Photography.

After nearly 35 years, the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem continues to fuel my passion for photography and the natural world, offering a new tableau daily.

I want to share that passion and improve your technical knowledge, composition skills and subject selection, while never getting in the way of your creativity.

A nationally published professional photographer, my work has been featured in Life, Outside and Sports Illustrated magazines, to name but a few. I also sell limited edition prints here.
