Itinerary
Every day has different lighting conditions and opportunities, so the itinerary will vary with your goals and experiences in mind. Your tour will cycle from shooting to review at various locations that challenge you in different ways.
At each location, I’ll be close by to provide advice as you need it. It’s not my goal to commandeer your camera and take pictures my way. Instead, I’ll help you achieve the image you see in the landscape and your mind’s eye.
Because digital photography offers instant review, we’ll analyze your shots and make technical adjustments when necessary to improve your images.
Each photographer will photograph a subject differently, and that’s part of the fun. By the end of the tour you’ll be far more prepared to capture the moments that resonate with your artistic vision.
FAQ
Do I need to be an experienced photographer to join?
Not at all! My tours are designed for beginners and hobbyists. We’ll cover camera basics and composition tips throughout the tour — no prior experience needed.
Will there be photography instruction?
Yes. I will offer personalized instruction throughout the tour, including technical advice on camera settings ( shutter speed, aperture, and ISO) composition tips, and post-processing suggestions (when applicable).
Do I need professional camera equipment?
Not at all. While many clients bring DSLRs or mirrorless cameras, you can also join with a compact camera or even a smartphone. The most important thing is your passion for photography.
