Wildlife & Photography Tours with AlpenGlow

All AlpenGlow Tours are private, assuring personalized attention and the ability to customize the trip to your expectations. Comprising approximately 15 million acres, the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem offers each tour almost unlimited opportunities to view the awe inspiring scenery and wildlife according to your schedule.

My experience and knowledge of the area will get you on location when the light is ideal for the variety of locations we visit. AlpenGlow Tours explores the area daily, noting the locations of wildlife to enhance our opportunities of successfully photographing and viewing these magnificent animals.

Another extremely popular tour. We will explore Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks for a great variety of wildlife.

This tour is AlpenGlow Tours’ most popular outing. Trips will be conducted during what photographers refer to as the “golden hour”, which is the time shortly after sunrise when the light is redder and softer than midday.

As the sun sets, we have another opportunity to photograph the Tetons during the golden hour. If you’re not a morning person, this is the trip for you.

While we will see wildlife on this tour, our primary goal is to photograph the many scenic areas of the parks in the best possible light. The scenery is always spectacular but some features definitely photograph better at a certain time of day.

This tour will visit the largest concentration of geysers in the world. The brilliant colors of the hot springs and the spectacle of erupting geysers make for extraordinary viewing and photography.

The Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem is a vast area, and to truly experience this region requires multiple days.

Winter is a magical season in the Rockies. Experience the solitude and peacefulness of Grand Teton National Park under a blanket of snow.

Now that you have your new DSLR, what’s next? This tour will concentrate on making you a better photographer.
